360 Camera, tricks, & Fake Drone
Why it takes much longer to work with 360 footage:
Shoot
We can simulate a fake drone shot with a 12 foot boom pole and an insta360 Camera. Add a one wheel for speed and stability. It also lets you travel through a space and show the story from various angles/perspectives.
2. Reframe
Since we shot all directions, it is time to sit down in the 360 studio to reframe, keyframe, adjust, select and export the raw footage into regular, workable 4K footage. This takes a bit longer than regular editing.
3. Edit
This is just regular editing now, including connecting Fake drone footage with real drone footage shot indoors.
